  3. Kids in the Kitchen: Multicultural Cooking. - A look at typical cooking in different countries. Includes maps, recipes and information on food and festivals.
  4. Circling the Globe : A Guide to Countries and Cultures of the World. -- A basic overview of countries around the world with maps, flags, crests, and facts at a glance.

If you are interested in animals and the environment try this series:

  1. Biomes of the World. -Features the animals and environmental issues of the different biomes of the world.

If you want to know more about history try these series:

  1. Cooking Throughout American History - Information about the food grown and cooked in America from the pilgrims through the civil war. Includes recipes.
  2. Profiles in World History: Significant Events and the People Who Shaped Them by Joyce Moss and George Wilson. -- From the beginning of civilization to the Middle East Peace Process this series covers major events in world history and give biographical information on the people who played a part in those events.
