Parents, Teachers & Caregivers
First Readers @ the Tulsa City-County
Library
A guide to raising a lifetime learner
Emergent literacy is what children know about reading and writing before they actually can read or write. The Tulsa City-County Library offers workshops to parents and care givers that will help them become a baby’s first and most important teacher. Workshop attendees will receive a First Readers packet that includes a growth chart, a “Finger, Hand & Action Rhymes” booklet, an “Infant & Toddler Songs” booklet and a free board book. |
